Terms and Conditions

Last updated 26 August 2026

Talking Lobby turns a creator's real trip into an itinerary you can book from. These terms explain what we do, what we don't, and who you are actually buying from.

Draft — not yet reviewed by a lawyer

Talking Lobby is a working prototype. This document describes what the product actually does today, but it has not been through legal review and is not a substitute for advice. Before taking real bookings, counsel needs to supply:

  • the registered legal entity name, address, and company identifiers
  • the named ticketing partner and every other recipient of personal data
  • a grievance officer with contact details, as Indian law requires
  • the governing law, jurisdiction, and dispute-resolution clauses

1. Who we are and what this covers

“Talking Lobby”, “we” and “us” mean the operator of this site. “You” means anyone using it. By browsing an itinerary, adding an experience to a cart, or starting a booking, you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.

2. What Talking Lobby is

Talking Lobby publishes itineraries built from trips that creators actually took, in the order they took them. Alongside the story we show the attractions and tours on that route, with dates, ticket options, and prices.

We are a discovery and planning surface. We are not the operator of any attraction, tour, or activity, and we are not a travel agent acting on your behalf.

3. Who your booking contract is with

When you pay on Talking Lobby, you are paying us. We then place each experience with the ticketing partner and the local operator running it, and send you the tickets they issue.

That means we are responsible for getting you a valid ticket for what you paid for, or refunding you. The experience itself — how it runs, its safety, its schedule — remains the operator's responsibility under their own terms, which apply to you as the ticket holder.

Paying confirms your order with us, not your place at the attraction. Bookings are placed after payment, so a slot can turn out to be unavailable. If that happens we refund that experience in full — see section 6.

4. Prices

Prices are shown in Indian Rupees as a single total for the selected date and ticket option. We show one final figure rather than a breakdown.

  • Card prices are for one traveller in a representative category. Your total changes once you set your actual party.
  • Prices come from the ticketing partner's inventory and can change at any time, including between the moment you see a price and the moment you pay.
  • The amount you are charged is recalculated from live inventory at the moment you press pay, for your actual party. If it has moved since the screen you were looking at, the amount shown in the payment window is the one that applies — check it before confirming.
  • Currency conversion, card fees, and bank charges are between you and your payment provider.

5. Availability

Availability is read from the partner's inventory for the dates you are viewing. A date, time slot, or ticket option shown as available may sell out or be withdrawn before you book. Where we cannot read a live option, the card says so and links you to the product page instead.

6. Changes, cancellations, and refunds

Each ticket option carries its own cancellation policy, shown on the card for that experience — for example, free cancellation up to a stated number of hours before, or non-refundable. That policy comes from the operator and applies to your ticket once it is issued.

Two things are on us. If we cannot place an experience you paid for — it sold out, the operator withdrew it — we refund that experience in full, to your original payment method. And if you cancel within an option's free-cancellation window, we will process that cancellation and refund for you.

Outside a free-cancellation window, a non-refundable ticket stays non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded. Refunds are returned through the original payment method and typically take five to seven working days to appear.

To change or cancel anything, message us on WhatsApp with your booking reference.

7. What we do not sell

Talking Lobby sells attractions and tours only. Hotels, flights, airport transfers, cabs, and restaurants that appear in an itinerary are editorial content — the creator's notes on where they stayed, how they moved, and where they ate.

We do not book them, do not take payment for them, and earn nothing from them. Arranging them is yours to do.

8. Creator content

Itineraries, quotes, photos, and video reflect one creator's experience at one point in time. They are shared for inspiration, not as professional travel, medical, safety, or accessibility advice.

Seasons, weather, opening hours, routes, and operator rules change. What suited a creator's group may not suit yours. Deciding whether an experience is right for you and the people travelling with you is your call.

9. Your responsibilities

  • Give accurate traveller details. Wrong names, ages, or heights can invalidate a ticket at the gate.
  • Check age, height, health, and accessibility rules for each experience before booking. Some rides and tours enforce them strictly.
  • Hold the travel documents you need — valid ID, passport, visa, and any insurance.
  • Arrive at the time and place the operator specifies. Late arrival usually means no entry and no refund.
  • Use the site for genuine trip planning, and not to scrape it, resell its content, overload it, or interfere with it.

10. Payment

Payment is taken on Talking Lobby through a licensed payment gateway. Card, UPI, and net-banking details are entered inside the gateway's own window — we never see, process, or store them. We keep only the payment reference and the amount.

Charges are in Indian Rupees. Which methods are available, and any related fees, are set by the gateway and your bank.

11. Content and intellectual property

The site's design, text, and code belong to us or our licensors. Creator photos, video, and words belong to the creator or their licensors and are used with permission. Attraction images and product descriptions belong to the ticketing partner or the operator.

You may share links to Talking Lobby pages. You may not copy, republish, or build a competing product from this content without written permission.

12. Availability of the site

Talking Lobby is a prototype under active development. It can be unavailable, incomplete, or wrong. Live prices and availability depend on a third party's systems, which can be slow or down. We do not promise uninterrupted service.

13. Our liability

We are responsible for the order you paid us for: placing it accurately, getting you a valid ticket, or refunding you. We are not responsible for the conduct, safety, quality, cancellation, or delay of any attraction, tour, or operator once you are there. Where an experience is cancelled or cut short by the operator, our obligation is to pass on whatever refund their policy provides.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the product changes. The version published here, with the date at the top, is the one that applies. Material changes will be flagged on the site.

15. Governing law

These terms are intended to be governed by the laws of India, with disputes subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts named in the final version of this document. The specific seat and dispute-resolution mechanism are still to be confirmed.
